I am so bummed...
I have a new Saturn ION Quad Coupe, bought it in November, it has just under 5,000, and it appears there's a transmission problem!
Last night we went to someone's house and parked outside on an incline. When we were about to leave, reverse worked fine, but when we tried putting it into drive (even the lower gears), the engine just revved and the car only moved maybe a foot or two even though the gas was almost all the way down. Ended up calling Saturn's customer service who arranged for a tow (I must admit that the lady at customer service was terrific, as were the tow-people. Fast and courteous.).
It's at the dealership now, but they're closed on Sundays, so I won't hear from them until tomorrow. I'm hoping for a simple fix, but I'm not going to hold my breath since it seems like it's related to the transmission.
Anyone else ever experience something like this?
