Ever have problems taking your ECV/scooter in anywhere?

I am supposed to pick up my scooter tomorrow and and I am ! I have a list of places that I can't wait to go and move around on my own. But I am realizing that I don't see scooters around here much. Can't really remember seeing them at the mall and other places that I want to go.

Has anyone ever had any resistance from places when you try to go in with a scooter?


I am assertive and have no problem asserting my rights and expressing my needs but I certainly prefer not to have to. I am just trying to prepare myself mentally for this. I would like to hear if anyone has had any problems and how you handled it.

I've never had a problem. If I am going to a large mall I will take my ECV with me.

It would be a problem in my neighborhood in New Orleans. The sidewalks are VERY broken up because of the old tree roots. I'm not sure how you could ride over them.
