Ever have anything stolen in the parks??

We have never had anything stolen from us at the parks - and we've gone millions of times. Just lucky, I guess, cuz we know how often it does happen. We don't leave anything of value with the stroller. Any Disney bag you see hanging on our parked stroller probably has garbage or wet clothes in it!

I've never had anything stolen, but I'll admit we've left clean but "crumpled" diapers in the bottom of the stroller to discourage any hands from wanting to reach in. ;)

We don't have strollers but what a great idea :thumbsup2
I'll have to share that tip with others :teeth:

We go on average 2x a year to WDW and never had anything stolen but we also never leave anything unattended. No shopping bags left on the stroller, no backpacks or toys. Everything comes with us at all times.

The only things we leave are things we can afford to lose.

I can not tell you the amount of video cameras, souvioners and other stuff I've seen left on strollers outside of attractions. Why would someone leave their valuables like that.

As a manager of mine at WDW said while he was replacing a bad of stolen merchandise 'even criminals go on vacation.'

If you have anything stolen you sould also check with lost and found. It is possible that a CM or other guest picked up your stuff and turned it in so it wouldn't be stolen. They bring all that stuff to a central location so it wouldn't necessarly be with the CMs at the closest attraction.

I was going to post no, but then I remembered Cubby.

Cubby was my son's cubscout den's mascot. Each boy had a turn bringing him home for the week. When we went to WDW, his den leader decided Cubby should go to WDW also. We took Cubby around like he was one of us, and took plenty of pictures. The one picture we needed, was a picture of Cubby on Splash mountain. We got the picture, and I ended up leaving the bag on the seat of the train. We went back later, but nobody had turned anything in. For the longest time, I could not think why anyone would want to keep a picture of a bunch of strangers on a ride.

hmmm , maybe its me but it seems like slash is a spot that thiefs hang around, I guess it would make sense that if any ride that would be the one people are going to leave valubals behind (because of the water) .
Maybe a good tip to pass along.

Amen to that. We were in WDW over Christmas and DN left her cell on MS. It was turned in to L & F; we picked it up the next day.

My prescription sunglasses (a very weak Rx, but still). I hope they caught my pink eye, too!

I've never had anything stolen, but my SIL had their camera stolen in October at Epcot. She sat her camera down as they were sitting around the fountain at the American Adventure. She turned around to hand her son something and a few moments later as they stood to leave she reached for her camera and it was gone!

My brother has a Stanley Cup ring (he worked for Tampa Bay the year they won).
He took it off to wash his hands in the men's room @ the Land.
Left ... went charging back in 10 minutes later when he realized ... gone.
Someone TURNED IT IN later that day.
It definitely maintained my faith in Disney magic.

We've never had anything stolen, because we don't leave anything of value in the stroller. If I wouldn't leave something in my stroller at my local mall, I don't leave it in the stroller at Disney.
