i want to stay in the boardwalk but im concerned that 2 bedroom there doesnt make sense if the party of 5 or 6 is all adults because one of the beds is a double.

has anyone had all adults in there party if youve stayed in one of these rooms? do you recommend it? would you avoid it?

id love to get everyones thoughts.

For trips w/out children, we tend to book only one couple per (usable) bedroom. We avoid asking anyone to sleep in the living room.

Yes. As part of our DH family reunion. We took the studio part, gave DH's sister and her DH the master, and gave DH's brother and his DW the living room. Originally I wasn't sure how we'd decide who got the living room and who got the master (those 4 shared a bathroom. I took the studio to have a private bath.) Then DH's brother didn't book all 5 nights of the trip, he only booked 3. So it was easy to decide. They got the living room for 3 nights.

The bigger concern is you only have 2 real beds - a king and a queen. Then a queen sofabed and double sofabed. Who gets stuck on the sofabeds? If only 1 person is using each of the sofabeds, I don't see the big difference between double & queen.

Have you considered pricing out (points) three studio's with a standard view, as opposed to a two bedroom? It might make a good alternative.

This June I'm travelling with my 21 yr old DD and her BFF and her BFF;s mom. Instead of craming ourselves into a one bedroom with two on the sofa and one bathroom (not enough points for a 2 this time around), I went with two studio's. More privacy, and more bathrooms.

Just an idea....have a great trip!

A couple of years ago we stayed at a 2 bed BWV. It was myself and DH in the master, DS and GF in other bedroom, and other DS was going to sleep on the sofa but slept in the pull out in DS/GF room. They had no complaints and neither did we. We plan on doing it again next year adding a 2 yo GD in a 2 bed at BLT.

We had a group of 5 adults in a 2 br, and also hosted several people over one night for a get together. It was fine in terms of space and sleeping arrangements. We can't wait to do it again!

We did it in January for Marathon Weekend. DH and I in master bedroom, one male friend on the pull out in the living room, 2 male friends in studio portion; one on the bed, one on the pull-out.

Totally comfy; absolutely fine!!!

I honestly think that it depends on how comfortable everyone is with the arrangements, personally I wouldn't do it. The size of the villas makes a huge difference too. IMHO BWV, BCV,BLT,WLV,HH, and VB (haven't stayed at AKV) would be tight with that many adults. We're going Xmas week 9 adults and one infant. We're staying at the BW, 1 GV and 2 SS's. Good luck with your planning, hope you have a great time.

I would agree that it depends on your party. We had 6 adults in a BWV 2BR for Princess Marathon weekend, but we were all women and didn't mind sharing beds and such. We did 2 in the king, 2 in the queen sleeper, and 1 in each double in the bedroom (regular and pullout).

It was nice to have the living area and such for us to all hang out, and I don't think we would have had as much fun in 3 studios. However, we only see each other a max of once a year so it was completely different than a family vacation.

I think if you had two couples and a single, and the single was okay with the sleeper in the living room, that you would be fine... One couple in the lock-off, one in the king bedroom (not sure how you would divvy that, though?), and the single in the living room?

Hi: I'm at BWV right now in a 2br with 5 adults. We've done this before-it's all a group of friends. There are 2 in the master, 1 in the lr, and 1 on each bed in the studio section. We only stay for a week at a time, so it's all just fine.

We've also done 5 adults in BWV 2 bedroom and it's been fine. We were all gals, all friends. I do like to try to have everyone have their own bed. However, the king was comfortable enough for DSis and me.

I've done a 2 studio reservations for 4 adults, as well, and that just wasn't as "friendly." Now I would do a 1 bedroom at AKV or BLT if possible, to get the kitchen and the common space as well as the sleeper chair. DSis has used it and was happy with it once when we had a BLT 2 bedroom.

I have had 4 adults and 3 children in the 2 bdr without a problem. A little tight, but still plenty comfortable.
