Ever had one too many at the parks?

My husband got a bit drunk during Food and Wine, we where in line at a booth and he turned to me and loudly asked what the pin was for our room charge. I told him his birthday, much to the amusment of the people behind me. That was the last drink of the night, lol

I almost did at the Darkside. It was DH's birthday and he wanted to have a beer at the Hogs Head. I'm not a huge beer drinker so I ordered a Strongbow and it went straight to my head. I declined the second one when he had another beer since I did need to drive back to our hotel a few hours later but my love of Strongbow on tap has remained.

We're going to Hoop De Doo this time (on Sunday - yay so close!) so there will be a few bevvies drank for sure. We've planned a late Epcot start the next day :) We don't get to the point of being fall-down drunk though, just happy.

What no stories about smuggling drinks into the magic kingdom?

Epcot seems to be the get your drink on place.

Animal kingdom is the only legal place at Disney where I have been buzzed, oh those magic grown up slushies.

Pre drinking Hang over cure is 4 chewable airborne and 5 hr energy shot. Get buzzed all you want. Trust me on this one.

Happy drinking at Disney everyone.

Oh how did I forget that Yak Attack. It packed quite a bit more of a punch than I expected. Maybe it was the heat, but one of those pretty much did me in. Mommy was loopy that afternoon!

I had two that loopy day. It was a mission to get the first one, walking fast, looking at the map lol. Just had to try one yummy.
Well that one was defective and had a hole in the bottom. It did make the wait at the dig so much more enjoyable:)

Not me, but my husband.

We had a date night at Teppan Edo and he ordered a bottle of sake to share... Except I don't drink sake, or do shots, sooooo... That was all him.

He wasn't fall down drunk or anything, but he needed a little support getting out of the park and may or may not have yelled BONSAI!!! randomly as we walked out of the park.

I tried Sake once and that was it. It tasted like gasoline to me. My son kept saying "oh mom you have to try it." Not good.

Sake is an odd taste. I usually prefer it hot (which I've been told is how the low quality sake is drunk) but all the "premium" stuff I've had chilled just wasn't for me. Still, at a nice japanese restaurant with the right food hot sake really hits the spot. Clean, crisp palate refresher. Hmmm, now I'm thinking ressies at the japanese benihana place for our next visit....F&W really kills our need for TS meals though.

Somebody told me I should of tried it warm. No thanks, I prefer the tequila at La Cava:crazy:

I think EPCOT has become that place for a lot of people now. I know when we go it's always a "Drink around the world" adventure. I have a fairly high tolerance so unless it's Food and Wine time it's rarely a problem. We did go with some friends one year and we decided to ride Maelstrom after starting in Canada and I didn't think my buddy was going to be able to get out of the boat.

lauradis - those tiny airplane sized bottles of rum CAN be smuggled into Magic Kingdom and taste oh so yummy in the Dole Whip!!!

Only my sister...I was younger, and I remember being in Epcot watching her drink around the world. About halfway thru the world, when we caught up, she was trying to dance with cast members. They were not amused.
