Hi Folks,

This summer is the last summer my daughter will be home before she is off to college. She wants to go to DisneyWorld for her last sumer home!! We have already made our reservations. Yesterday, the teacher who teaches in the room next to me, came running in with her 40% off code that she had just been emailed. I was totally bummed!!!

Has anybody ever received a code once they have reservations made? If so, can you then adjust your reservation to include it?

I am sooooooo keeping my fingers crossed for a code!!
:yay:

Yes. I had a AAA reservation and was emailed the 40% PIN a lot of other peoeple have posted receiving. I called and the CM was able to apply the PIN to my reservation. Don't give up! There is still hope! I'm hoping for the one during Christmas week, but no luck yet.

Don't lose hope... I just got a PIN in my email last night for 30% off Deluxe reorts Dec 25 - Jan 2!! I already had a room only ressie, so MS was able to adjust it with the PIN!
Sending Pixie Dust your way!! :wizard:

Hi Amy1007! Take it from me. DH and I were soooooooo discouraged a few days ago. Then yesterday we received the PIN!

If you already have a reservation, try this: create a new account on the disneyworld website, with a different email address than the one currently holding your reservation. Clear all cookies from your webbrowser. ;) Start saving offers using your new account (up to 5). Allow pop-ups on the website (i.e., disable pop-up blocker). There should be a window that appears with a survey at the end of your session. Answer the survey. Most importantly, don't give up hope and be persistent! Check your emails frequently. Read the fine print! The 20%, 30%, 40% PIN code came into my email with what originally looked like an email describing a resort. We're wishing you tons of pixie dust! pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:

This is exactly what I did about 5 days ago. Created another account under my DH's email address, saved some vacation quotes and answered anything that I thought would give me a chance of getting a code. My DH just told me a short time ago that he received 2 emails from Disney Destinations last night. They both contained the same saved vacation quote information as well as the 20, 30 & 40% codes (2 different codes). Just called and added the 40% to our exsisting ressie and extended it by 2 nights. We are paying less money for the 7 nights than it was for the 5 nights.:yay:

Don't give up hope. Here's some pixiedust:

I have a package ressie for August 2010 and I just received the 40% code everyone was talking about. I saved some offers on the Disney site. I emailed my travel agent the pin code, so I'm waiting to hear what the price will be for June 2010 at the Poly. (originally staying at POFQ which I love). This is the only we could afford to stay at the Poly. I was hoping to get this code.

Yes lots of times and I would call and get the new price for the resort room and if its saves, then I would rebook the new code.

Some times AP codes would come out after I received a pin code in the email.
If I can get a AP code I always changed to them, as they seem to save just a little bit more.
Any time you get a new code you should always call and recheck to see if you can save any more money with the new code.

I so hope the OP gets the pin code--a last trip before college would carry with it such great memories!!!

I'm REALLY hoping for this code! We're traveling from 12/31-1/6, and we have a code for 1/3-6 but were planning to stay off-site for the other nights. This code would certainly help!

I didn't get the pin, it was booked under my name, but my husband did! We just changed it and are saving over $400!

Make sure your spouse has accounts open with Disney too - it doubles your chances!

I have applied a code to an existing reservation my past two trips. Don't give up!

Did you have the dining plan with your original reservation? I received the same pin, but the CM said I couldn't apply it to our WL ressie because we had the dining plan ! ! ! He said it was for the room only, that we'd have to cancel our dining reservations -- which, of course, I did not want to do. The email that included the pin didn't say a word about this.

I don't think the CM was telling you correctly. Last year, we applied the 4+3 deal to our reservation and switched hotels. I asked if I had to do anything about the dining reservations and the CM I talked with said the dining reservations had nothing to do with our resort package reservations. They said that the only reason they asked what hotel you were staying in was to allow your reservations to be pulled up by your hotel conceirge and that the restaurants liked to have it to give a more personalized experience like asking, "How are you enjoying your stay at the WL?" As far as I know, they restaurants don't care how you pay your bill...with dining plan or out-of-pocket. I can only imagine that only the restaurants that require pre-payment would care about the change from dining plan to not...but you would have had to put your credit card down on it, so it isn't like they aren't going to get something if you are a no-show. I would call back and talk to someone else.

I totally agree with the last post. I had dining last 2 trips, and used codes, no problem!
