Ever flown in just for a day?

Why yes I have, several times. My granddaughter calls it my Daycation!

We have, and we plan to do that very same thing at Disneyland the first weekend in December (after a three-night Disney cruise and nine nights at WDW starting Wednesday!!!). We've never seen the Christmas decorations at Disneyland, so we figured, why not.

But, I am blessed to be an airline employee (who doesn't always travel nonrev because I'm also anal about my flights and I am spoiled to elite status with an alternate carrier), and we have annual passes at both parks now.

That AP makes it too tempting! We once went every single weekend in January and February. It was a blast!

Hi, thanks for all the responses. I really do love the CP and think it might just be worth trying a quick trip. Although I might be rethinking to 2 nights, just in case of a flight delay, I would hate to miss the show I went to see. Yikes, addonitis really is everywhere..........

I'm actually doing it for my birthday in a couple of weeks. I'm going down and staying at OKW with some friends, visiting EPCOT for the day and then we are flying home late the next day. The best part I go back down the following week. Only a few weeks until the craziest trip I've ever taken.

Close: I flew in on a Friday night, toured Saturday a little, did the Marathon on Sunday and flew back that afternoon. I couldn't miss any work or I'd have had a dock day, and that was a deal breaker with DH.

I would also like to visit the Magic Kingdom and stay at the BLT. I just hope I do not have a lot of other stuff. I could usually see myself in the journey comes to an early morning flight and return home the next night.
