If so, what are your thoughts as far as comfort, service, seating, reliability and so on? I've always flown NWA so that's what I have to compare to. I think it's a bit bogus you have to pay extra to choose your seating. Have you ever had problems with not sitting close to family if you chose to not pay the extra cost for that? I'm just looking for anyone with experience. Thank you!

We booked flights on Allegiant from Worcester MA to Sanford at very cheap rates, when they announced they were adding Worcester to the schedule. The flights were not really that bad! On the way down someone had a peanut allergy, so we couldn't eat the peanut butter crackers I had brought along. We had cookies, our own soda, etc. We were assigned seats at check-in, and DH and I got exit row! DS17 sat a few rows away from us. He doesn't mind of course. The return flight leaves too early (7:40 am) but Alamo rental return was easy. Park the car, and drop keys in box. Our pilot got us back to Worcester almost an hour early! The planes were MD 80 series, with 3 seats on one side, and 2 across the aisle. I found the Sanford Airport very easy to use, as was Worcester.

Flew my first time with them last week. We has a nice flight both down and back. We paid the extra for the seat assignment, so I can't say if it is difficult to get seats together if you don't. I doubt we will use them again. I like flying out out of ABE since it is a small airport but to pay for seat assignment and for your snacks and drinks is more then I am willing to do.
