Well, check this out. A computer tech in Alaska was reformatting a disk drive during some maintenance work. Well, this computer tech accidentally reformatted the backup drive as well and erased all the data. Now there's always a back up to the backup, right? Well, the backup tapes, that are updated nightly, was unreadable. What makes this even worse is this is an account worth $38 billion. Here's the story.

Tech support from AOL and MSN tried and couldn't figure out what I had done and Gateway (where I bought the computer) wanted money before they would even make a suggestion, so I'm stuck with the thing.
