I'm in the minority for sure here. My family usually cooked when we went on vacations years ago. We didn't stay in hotels often, but when we did we brought our camping gear. It was small and portable. We only went out to eat maybe once in that trip, usually eating whatever we brought with us. It was simply for connivance and my younger sister is a very picky eater. She never really ate much of anything at restaurants around the hotel and we had to go out of are way a lot. Cooking is also a family thing for us, we enjoy it a lot.
We don't use anything from the hotel. No matter how clean they claim to be. Ew.
Also, irons have been known to be used on hair for decades, I would NEVER put that on my food.
