Ever conquer your fear? I did on Saturday! Come see...

I went to the observation deck of the CN Tower in Toronto, Canada!

Skydome... open for a game!

Finally a picture from the Skypod (147 stories up!) taken by my brave DH!

I didn't think I would make it up at all, so I didn't buy a ticket to the skypod (147 stories up!) but I did FINE at the observation deck and glass floor (113 stories) and probably could have gone up with dh and our friend. Oh well, next time!

What a wonderful experience, not only the view, but to be able to conquer my fear and say, "I DID IT"!

It'll take me awhile to even think about conquering my fear of heights like you did. I do play with that fear sometimes, but I haven't been able to manage to do try to conquer it and stand at the same time.

I was petrified walking up to it and buying the tickets, but once in the elevator it started to become sureal! The elevator takes you up 113 stories in 58 seconds (my ears popped!), travelling 15 mph. There was a Toronto Argonauts game later that night that is why Skydome was open.

Rumor has it that on a perfectly clear day, you can see Niagara Falls and Rochester, NY from the Skypod! Now THAT'S a view!

Next time I would like to see it at sunset and night!

Good for you! I dont have a fear like that, but I am not a fan of rats and I dont think I want to conquer that one!

But that is amazing! Good for you! DH has a fear of heights and I had him go on Dumbo. Ride. He was pretty scared; so I dont think he is ready for the skydome yet. But I LOVE that place. Great Pics and again..good for you!

An Argos pre-season game was going on at Skydome. They are still picking their team.

Well, no, Damo, I couldn't stand on the glass floor! I leaned over it to take a picture, but I couldn't walk on it!

I'll be taking an out of towner there in August! I haven't been up in about 8 yrs. It's true you can see across the lake on a clear day!
