Ever booked because of a "lucky" Disney glitch?

Guys... serious question here... has anyone booked something during a Disney "glitch"??

I've been trying to add my hubby & son to my already booked FP's and dining reservations for about a month now.

Today i accomplished the LAST piece of the puzzle. I only had a reservation for 2 for Tony's Town Square MSEP Package and need 2 more. I FINALLY saw it available today on MDE (computer version). I quickly snatched it a grabbed a screenshot (because i trust NOTHING lol)... sure enough... i go to check it on my MDE app and its not there anymore!! I called Disney Dining and they said "we can't see anything right now because we are undergoing magical enhancements" which we all know means the system is effing up and all hell is probably breaking loose.

My question... IF i did in fact catch a resssie because of a glitch... do they have to honor it? I have the confirmation number and screenshot.

FYI... i DID try to link it manually and it wouldn't work either.

It is possible they could cancel the reservation.

A few years ago they did a system upgrade that lost everything and I mean everything. I don't think they honored any of it but I wasn't apart of that period of lost reservations so am not 100% sure how it went down. I don't know if you had a printed confirmation if they honored that or not.

Never recieved the email confirmation. But i did get a "screenshot" of it for the small time it was in my MDE account. Wonder if i should bring that with me?

Hm if you didn't get a confirmation email, it won't link in MDE, and it went poof off of there too it is most likely that the reservation was not valid. I would try to get something again or calling dinning to double check.

I think it's possible...? I got a Tony's MSEP reservation by chance for Dec 3. It was open one day then not the next, then open again but checked again in a few mins, it was gone. Of course I now want it for another day but have not seen it pop up again.

A couple of years back, i was able to get a Candlelight Processional package before they were released officially. I was checking and noticed a CP package for Via Napoli and nothing else. Later I noticed a Teppan Edo. Finally there was a Coral Reef which I grabbed. When I mentioned it on the board, several others were able to get a few reservations, but we were told they would probably be cancelled. I called the CM the next day and was told I was lucky and would be able to keep it.

This evening, I was browsing the ADRs and there were all kinds of openings for MSEP packages. I grabbed one and it's in my MDE now. I did it via phone app. Got a confirmation too. Just now I was checking to change the time and there is nothing available, but the website is messing up, too.
