Ever been to WDW week BEFORE Memorial Day?

What are the crowds like? We have limited time we can go - this week being one of the available. Any ideas?

Just shamelessly bumping this - I need to book today ($ burning a hole in my pocket and I have a co-worker who is trying to plan her trip around mine)....

I'm going that week....from my research the crowds are supposed to be "average"....whatever that means....we were there for Thanksgiving week
one year and didn't mind those crowds, so this should be a snap! We just
go early and skip EMH parks. BOOK IT!!!!

We went that week a couple of years ago. Crowds were average but as always with the tips from the DIS even a large crowd is managable,

We went that weeks some years ago. Crowds were very manageable! A fair amount of people but lines moved quickly and we did everything we wanted to. We left on Memorial Day and as we were leaving we could tell things were really picking up.

We have been twice during the week preceeding Mem. Day & stayed through the Memorial Day weekend. The days before were very manageable, but crowds started building on Thursday. Weekend was notably busier & then light again after Monday. It's plenty hot then - but not as bad as July (or last 2 summer trips).

I have been there a half dozen times at that time (last of May). Planning on again this year. Crowds have always been fine, IMO.

Went 2 years ago that week and I thought it was quite crowded but doable. I was certainly happy I knew my way around and what all the attractons were. I felt sorry for people walking around with the map up-side down wondering where they were! Lol

3 years ago we did the week after easter and it was actually quite nice. Cooler than that week before Memorial Day Weekend and less crowded on the weekend.

Either way it is WDW and you can't go wrong!!!! Have a magical trip!

LOL, Dan! Honestly last trip someone was going toward WS looking for The Living Seas and it was closed for rehab anyway!! I helped her out, turned the map around, said "You are here" and hopefully helped them get somewhere. WDW is just too big to go into with no clue.

Went that week last year. It was very crowded. It wasn't spring break crowded, but summer crowded, if that makes sense? However, that was supposed to be unusual.

We've been that week twice, once in 1999 and the other in 2004 and I think it's a great time. The weather isn't super hot and humid yet and the crowds are pretty low.

We went last year the week before Memorial Day and it was great! IT did get more crowded near the end of our trip but not bad. We got everything in that we wanted to get done and didn't find the crowds or lines bad at any of the parks. Have fun!!
