I have read many wonderful things about Celebration, Florida at Christmas time. Can anyone tell me anything about it? Can you share pics? Thanks for all of your awesome help!!
I don't have pics, but I can say it is a lot of fun. We were able to take a tour of model homes and it was amazing. The town itself is beautiful and clean. There are some fun little shops and plenty of good places to eat.
They have "snow " at christmas there -it usually starts around the end of nov and carries on until the end of dec.It happens in the main street on the hour.Great fun and of course usually the homes are beautifully decorated.
Well worth a trip.....We always go there. Here is a link to the dining. Cafe D'Antonio is one of our favorite restaurants. Town Tavern has a great outdoor bar and eating area. You won't be sorry.
I had a house there for about two years. Its a great place, and they really keep on people to keep it up nicely.
They always have great events going on in the downtown area. Also, if you have small children, bring them in their bathing suits so they can play in the big fountain!!
There is a decent hotel on 192 right outside of Celebration's gates. I *think* it's a Radisson. You can get a room for well under $100 and they have a great breakfast buffet (not free, but you can easily get it added to your room as a package).
We LOVE Celebration! We used to live in the area, and we went there frequently. Christmastime with the snow is so fun. There is also a really cute little movie theater, lots of shops, restaurants, etc.

We have stayed at the Radisson several times....Its not the Dolphin but good for the price. Ask for the '600' building. The resort has 2 pools, a Tiki bar between the pools and a sports bar inside. Shuttle to the park but limited hours. You are right across the road from the entrance road to Celebration. Taxi is $12 to $15.

Isnt there still a really nice hotel IN Celebration? Probably expensive to stay there though. I remember it being right on the little lake in the downtown area.
We went last year at Christmas and it was great! They have by far the best Santa around. The kids got candy canes, there was Santa and Mrs. Clause and the best part - I got to take my OWN pictures! With my camera - I didn't have to pay $30 for 1 8x10.
The snow is great - the kids loved it, they have "ice" skating also.

Thank you all so much for the wonderful advice on Celebration! I think this is a must do for my family while we are in Orlando for Christmas!! Thanks again!
