youre the one not forgiven? Yup, just heard the other person has been totally forgiven, accepted back into the family, etc. However, I just called 2 people to apologize and was hung up on! Totally unfair

I believe in listening to people's apologies. I don't think it was fair at all to hang up on you. Sorry about the situation.

Maybe for some reason they are more hurt by you than the other person. When somebody is hurt it my take a long time to even be able to listen to the apology.

No two situations are the same...and as if none of us know what happened ,it would be hard for complete strangers to give an opinion.

A handwritten note sounds good.
