Many may already know but the link for the Event Guide/Program is available on the RD website. There have been some changes to the location for bib pick-up. It is all still in the Milkhouse but the marathon, half marathon and 5k are now upstiars on the entry level and the 10K Goofy and Dopey are on the lower level. The Goofy and Dopey folks also will pick up their shirts right there in the same location. All others will still have to go next door to pick up thiers.

I was just picturing whether I wanted to be carrying a bag with six shirts (5k, 10k, Half, Full, Goofy, Dopey) around the expo floor, along with whatever runDisney merchandise I buy, or if it would make more sense to pick up the shirts later.

Woohoo, in and out of ONE building then back to work

I also think the mouse has been listening and the expo seems to be bigger and more spread out now incorporating the Champion Field mezzanine level.

I'm definitely liking the spreading out of the expo!

Now if they would just find some way to keep the massive buy-out of race-specific merch from happening (read: people buying STACKS of the same item)...

I'm pretty much preparing myself for there being nothing left by the time I show up at the expo on Saturday. My only hope is that people are all over the Dopey and Goofy merch, and that leaves some marathon straggler items for me to shop for.

I have so much 'stuff' from previous marathons (rhyming with wrap) that I seriously go in, and get out as soon as possible. Back in the good ole days, the official race shirt was a really bad cotton tee so one really wanted to find a better shirt.

I run in the NB 890 V4 as a back up shoe so I may hit the Josten's line early for a whack at size 11 Goofies. But then Wednesday is a work day for me and my schedule will revolve around that.

Now that the race shirt comes in women's sizes, I shouldn't have to shop for a shirt I can actually run a good distance in comfortably. But I would like to take a look at the running jackets.

I don't remember if you did the TOT, and I don't know if the TOT experience was how it will be for others, but... The race shirts included with our package were huge. And the shirts and jackets that you would buy were absolutely tiny. I managed to trade down to a small race shirt (had ordered a medium because that's what I thought I would be by that time AND the sizing info was absolutely impossible for me to understand) and really should have an XS. But the TOT hoodie in a small was so tight I couldn't even put it on (DH bought me one while I was running) and I had to exchange it up to a Medium, and that still fits like plastic wrap.

The long sleeved shirts for purchase at the expo were similarly sized to the hoodie. Didn't try the short sleeved shirts though.

Mystifying.

Well, we'll see. My Princess race shirt fits fine, but I don't know if they're the same cut as they're using for these races.

Thinking of that...I like to just pick everything up then and there and get it done. So I hope I remember to pack a backpack and then carry it with me there... I can toss everything into it and then look around the expo. I will also be picking up stuff for other people as well.

Hey folks. Am I missing something in the guide? I can't seem to find the starting times for the half and 10K corrals. Thanx

The 5k and 10k corrals are listed on the bib. Disney has traditionally not published the 5k bibs since it was a 'fun' run. I would assume that the 10k would be the same since the Dopey folks would then know the 5k corrals and well and then.... 1000's of phone calls.

I was just about to comment on the omission of wave times....

Most large races with a higher number of waves do not publish the wave times as it takes some flexibility out of the starter's hands. I think what you will see is that the 'next' corral will start 90-120 seconds after the proviso corral clears the start - similar to the RnR folks. Assum 2 minutes per wave for the 500 person waves and then 3-4 minutes for most of the rest and 5-7 minutes for the last 2-3 waves.

I believe that last year it was the same, that the large event program did not have the corral start times in it, but a 2-page document of final race instructions was released closer to the date (1-2 weeks out) that did have the specific start times.
