Event discounts for friends/family?

I'm purchasing After Hours tickets for my parents. I assume that the same rules apply as the AP discount? As in, I can't use my DVC discount when purchasing it for them?

DAH tickets don't have the same restrications as APs do. You can purchase them for friends and family that will be joining you, even if they don't reside with you.

I think you can. Last year we were able to buy discounted DAH tickets for everyone in our group. 2 non DVC members staying in our room with us, and another 2 staying at Pop. I'm not sure what the limit is, but we were able to buy 4 extra no problem.
