hi, sorry if this is a stupid question, but are these official dates from disney, as we are planning our trip in dec and we want to go to mvmcp, if these are the dates do you have any idea when the tickets will be on sale, thanks for any information susie

These are the dates that Disney has published. I went to the Flower and Garden festival yesterday and today and the dates are published in the Festival Guide. I have it here in front of me.

It doesn't mention when tickets go on sale.

hi, thanks very much for your reply, these dates are great for us, will keep watching the boards for when they go on sale, thanks again, hope i didnt offend you with my questions susie

So, Osbourne Family Lights are coming back!!! Yay. My Thanksgiving trip is looking quite terrific. Thanks for posting.

susie2, not a problem.

goofy4tink, This is what was printed in their festival guide. I am sure Disney reserves the right to change what they published.

Thanks for the info and confirming the dates for MVMCP. Glad to see that they are publishing that Osborne Lights will be back!

Now if we can get firm dates on when the tix go on sale, I would be happy! So far people are reporting being told early May.

thanks. May go next June befoe our cruise so that I can see the garden festival.

Thank you for posting this iformation. I had been planning our itinerary around MVMCP for a Tuesday night. I am glad that I won't have to make any major changes to it. Now that I am sure the Osborne Lights will be back (have never seen them) I need to plan them into our itinerary. All I need now is the dates tickets go on sale for MVMCP. Will be watching for that. :wave2:

Thank you muchly

Thanks for the post -it's nice to have all those dates in one place. Thought I'd add the 2004 Grad Nites at the MK:

Grad Nites: April 23, April 24, April 30, and May 1, from 10:00 pm to 4:00 am.

The Magic Kingdom will close to the public at 7:00 pm on those nights.

There are also Pre-Grad Nite parties held at Pleasure Island from (6:00 pm to 8:30 pm), Magic Kingdom (9:30 pm to 11:00 pm) and Fort Wilderness (7:30 pm to 10:00 pm) on the same dates.

Source of the above info is the April 2004 MouseSavers Newsletter.

Does anyone know how grad night impacts on regular crowds. We just got next years school calendar and I was thrilled my DD has April 24-29th off, no holidays involved and we were going to take in Flower and Garden with the rest of the family. If grad nights stay about the same time I am worried it could be "zooy"

TIA

Haven't been during that time, but I wouldn't think Grad Nites would impact regular park attendance much at all. Kids are just bused in for that event/time only. The last week of April isn't listed anywhere that I know of as a particularly busy time in the parks.

Anyway, what Mary said about GN in her MouseSavers Newsletter made a lot of sense to me:

Be aware that there can be significant traffic issues in the Magic Kingdom area from about 9:00 pm to 11:00 pm, while dozens of tour buses roll in with the kids who will be attending. Particularly if you are staying at one of the Magic Kingdom resorts and planning to drive somewhere at that time of night, be prepared for long delays, or ask at Guest Relations for advice about how to avoid the traffic. (We were stuck for over an hour once when we got caught in Grad Nite traffic.) It's probably wise to avoid Pleasure Island and Fort Wilderness around the times of the Pre-Grad Nite parties, as well.

Seems to me that you could easily work around Grad Nite traffic with a little advance planning, even if you planned to stay at a MK resort. Since you'll probably want to stay at one of the EPCOT resorts for Flower & Garden (isn't BCV your home?), I doubt you'd be impacted at all. I sure wouldn't let GNs stop me from visiting during that time if I got the chance.

Best wishes -

According to a CM from CRO I talked to today, the target date for the tickets for MNSSHP and MVMCP is May 2nd. :hyper:
