Hello!
We love the pictures of couples and their bridal party in and around the Grand Floridian before and after their ceremony. We would love to have pictures like those, but our ceremony is at 7:30 pm. For those brides who have had an evening ceremony, did you have pictures like those done? We are keen on not seeing each other before the ceremony, but if it means that we will give up the opportunity of such pictures we may decided on doing it before the wedding. I was just wondering what other brides have done.

Thanks!

Hi Jessica,

While we didn't get married at WDW, we had an evening wedding. I also didn't want us to see each other before the cermony, but in order to get daylight pics (just in case the nighttime ones didn't turn out), we had to. It was actually pretty nice, because our photographers set up a "first look", where DH had his back to me, and I walked up and tapped him on the shoulder. The videographers were there as well. I think all photographers do that, but you might want to ask.

When we were going to get married at the WP, I just loved the pics that were shown at twilight, taken outside on that bridge, with the little lights...hope I'm making sense here! LOL

Anyway, my advice would be to go ahead and do the pics beforehand, as long as they do something special for "first look"

hth! :)

Thank you!
That does help! I hadn't even thought of the "first glance" photograph! Thank you for sharing your experience with me :)

Jessica
