Evening Magic Hour wristband ?

Do you have to get your wristband by a certain time in order to participate in Evening Magic Hour or can you arrive when it starts?

I THINK you can get the wrist bands when it's starting. At least this was the case in January at the MK. I waiting for "Wishes", not even thinking about the fact that it was EMH as soon as "Wishes" ended and there were CMs around, calling out for anyone who needed a wrist band. I think I saw CMs with wrist bands on Main Street even after EMH was going on.

We just got back for WDW yesterday. We had a fabulous time!

We went to the EMH at AK last Tuesday evening. If you are already in the park, there are stations around it where you show your resort ID and get a wristband. We got to AK after the traditional closing time (5:00) and got our wristbands right by the turnstiles on our way in.

Seeing AK at night was really neat! We rode on Primeval Whirl several times without a long wait! It was great!
