Evening EMH -- Worth it?

Evening EMH -- Worth it?

  • Absolutely -- it's fun and you get a lot done

  • Sure, but you won't get as much done as in the morning

  • No way -- everyone takes advantage of it. Do another park instead

  • Other (please explain)

Specifically for the week of May 28th -- June 6th, but also in general.

We stayed at MK EMH on May 4th and found it to be quite crowded with quite a few long lines...Although, we figured it was a result of more people visiting for the celebration the next day...No go on EMH at other parks this trip!

The reports all along have stated that evening EMH is more crowded and popular than the morning program. I think it was overall expected. It is easier for many guests and families to stay up later than get up earlier, especially on vacation. I know DH and I are looking forward to taking advantage of this in August.

We are all morning people -- amazing since that includes 2 teens and 2 younger -- I think we're leaning toward the strategy of do the early open park -- and get there before the rope drops -- and skip the late day EMH.
thanks.

I can't wait to take advantage of the EMH on our next trip in August. We can actually do some other activities (water park, resort pools, bikes) during the day and have an early dinner and be in the parks in time for parade/fire works and then evening attractions. :cheer2: Since it will be late August the park crowd will probably not be to bad.

It was absolutely worth it for MK in January. The park was only open until 7 that night and we stayed until 10. We had a fabulous time. The only suggestion - don't watch wishes from Main Street. Everyone was leaving and we were trying to get to Fantasyland. :earseek:

Last July we did MK EMH and were lucky enough to play till 2am!!! The astro orbiter has never been so cool :goodvibes

It was VERY worth it. The first HOUR was kinda busy, but then it was DEAD. And the wait times were not what it said. Space Mountain said 30 minutes, it took more like 10. My dh took our older dd and she got to do every ride she missed during the day. I took the younger dd who got to ride the carousel 4 times, than It's a Small World 5 times. She was in heaven, I was bored, but on the look out for Hidden Mickey's so that wasn't as bad as it could have been. :earsboy:

We then did them at Epcot and again, if we hadn't been so exhausted, we would have gotten to go and see everything we would have wanted.
