Evening EMH-How does it work?

We're planning on doing AK and then after Dinner my DD and I will park hop to MK for the evening and it also has an evening EMH that night. We have park hoppers and are DVCers staying at BCV so I know we can do, but do we need a wristbans or something? If so where and when do you get them? Is it usually really crowded at evening EMH? Are the shops open too? If the park is slated to close at 11pm then the EMH would keep it open until 2am?TIA

Yes, you do need a wristband. Some shops are open. Yes, the park will be open 3 hours past the listed closing time. And evening EMH are always more crowded than morning EMH.

Thanks, Bob! Where do you get the wristbands? I did see on allears that you get them 2 hrs or so before reg. closing time, but where do you get them? Thanks!

I'm not sure where the locations are in all the parks. Maybe someone else can chime in, if not then the CMs will be able to tell you. There are usually several spots scattered through the parks.

When yo enter the park they can tell you where to get your band. For su the eve extra hours have not been a great thing it is like everyone goes to the same park and we have exp the longest lines at ths time.

tip we were there in Jan and soon before the extra started we got a bunch of fast passes for Aerosmith then we hardly had to wait.

In the morning the extra hours are great because it doens't seem like famlies get up early and get there.

I love the ak safari so one morning I got up and went by myself and hubby stayed with the kids. I went on 4 times in a row. It was great.

I left the park by 10:15. At this time the busses are only goin to parks so the transport called a special bus that took me directly to my hotel. When I got off people were looking at me funny because it was just me and now the stops were full of peole wanting to go to the parks. The bus said VIP cast member.

Thank you. I'll have to check with a CM or something. Even though I stay on property I don't think we ever used the EMH. We try to sleep in (at least a little bit) and are too pooped out to stay out really late (like past 11pm). We had the 1st sitting at Cindy's once and right after could get on a lot rides with little wait.
