evening EMH at EP ?

Hey-
We are planning to do Epcot on a day with evening EMH in August. I am new to the EMH system so I want to know-since future world and world showcase have different hours usually-how does that effect the evening EMH? Does Future world still close before worldshowcase?

Hi and Welcome!
Although Future World officially closes at 7pm most nights the major attractions like Spaceship Earth, Test Track, Soarin', Mission: Space, and a few others, remain open until 9pm. So for the evening EMH they will remain open until midnight.
Just a tip....at the Studios I overheard a CM saying that they re-open the Fast Pass machines when the evening EMH starts. We were able to grab FP for the Tower of Terror just as EMH started. If the same is true (likely) in Epcot grap FP for Soarin' and Test Track or the wait might be really long on the stand-by line. At the Studios EMH TOT was something like 85 minutes after we rode using our FP. The evening EMH can get really crowded.

When you get your wrist band for EMH ask for a list of open attractions. Some FP were available and the night we went The UK and Mexico were open in World Showcase.
Be warned though that it is extreemly crowded, I have never seen Epcot so crowded, plus Wonders of Life and Energy were closed. So everything that is open is long long lines. We found going to a non EMH park worked much better.

Thanks for the info...I must say I am a little worried about evening EMH in all the parks from reading these boards! But our time is limited so I plan to give em a try. I will def. look for evening FPs...
Since I haven't been since 1998, FPs are new to me too. If I go to an FP machine in the afternoon, say 1pm in Future World-for soarin ot test track, about what time do you think we'll be assigned? Can you choose what time you'll get-like say you want to go later than you are assigned?

If you go to either Test Track or Soarin' around 1pm for Fast Passes (if they are still available) the return time will likely be 5 hours or more.
All the FP machines are closed when they either run out or park closing time is approaching. This includes the park with the evening EMH since they go by the official closing time for that park. Once the evening EMH starts the Fast Pass machines are opened up again.
By all means try the evening EMH. You may be luckier than most of us. We tried the evening EMH at the Disney Studios but only got to ride TOT once with the Fast Passes because the lines everywhere were SOOOOO long.

We tried Epcot evening EMH about the third week of June. Once the FP were available, managed to snag one for about 10:15 for TT. We got that and Honey I shrunk done and that was it. Decided to get in line to go back to POR about 11 p.m. It took 5 full busses to clear the line just for our resort. Based on that, we imagined MK evening EMH would be even worse and didn't even try. Went to AK evening EMH and that was great! Pretty much stuck with morning EMH's when we used them.
