Anyone ever used any of Disney's sitting services? As many times as our family has been to Disney, we have never gone out for an evening to Pleasure Island. We are very picky about our sitters, and there is also the guilt factor of leaving our children (6&10) with strangers so we can go out for the evening. Just wondering who has had good or bad experiences with any of these services.

We were in Disney in Oct. We used Kidz Nite out. We had an older lady, and she did great. The kids both liked her. She took them to the play ground, arcade, and fed them dinner. She then played in the room with them. They were both asleep by the time we got back to the room. She left us a very detailed note about what they did. We were very pleased. She actually kept up with our active 2yo! :flower:

Another couple and their children stayed with us at SSR in a 2 bedroom suite and we had Ms. Vivian come and watch all of the children while we went to Fulton's Crab House for dinner and then off to Pleasure Island for a little while. We were at Disney for 10-days and we really needed the break (and so did the kids).
Oh, we have a DD 4 and DS 2 AND so do the other couple. So, it was like two sets of twins.
Ms. Vivian, from "Fairy Godmother's", came around 6:30 and we returned home around Midnight. She had them all in bed at a reasonable hour. The next day we asked the 4 year-old girls (who are brutally honest) if they liked Ms. Vivian and they said "yes. Can she come back tonight too?" So, it worked out well for all of us. Ms. Vivian has grandchildren, so we knew she could relate. We would hire from that agency again. One other thing to keep in mind- Disney does not really own or promote a babysitting service that comes to your hotel room. They have kids clubs.
Have a great trip and enjoy your break!

We used the kids club at the beach club a couple years ago and my daughter loved it..... She asked to go a second night so we got dinner by ourselves....

This is not exactly true - they do have some sort of contract with Kids Nite Out. KNO people go through Disney training and if you get concierge to make a reservation for you, it will be with KNO. They don't prevent other services from coming in, though.

I used KNO last year and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Thumbs up for Kids Night Out. We had them back in September, and I highly recommend Ms. Kristy (though I'm told that there are several Ms. Kristies.) :goodvibes

I have recommended them/her to friends that are going down next week, and would use them again when we go down next time.

My children loved the Cub's Den at the Wilderness Lodge. We were there in February and it was nice for my husband and I to go out to dinner for Valentines Day Dinner. Our girls loved the plac    e and did not want to leave.

Smae boat here, have a 9 year old son and am intersted in information I am struggling to locate regarding the Kids Club, I will be staying at The POrt Orleans in May and would love some feedback about this service and how to locate information if there is web access. Thank you!

MY DS6 then 5 used The Neverland Club at the Poly. He loved it so much he thinks he gets to go each time we travel to disney. He goes to daycare each day after school and loves this also. After a few days with all adults I think the kids look forward/need a time with just kids to PLAY.

I have no guilts leaving him as long as he thinks it is more fun than being with me :rotfl:

We've used the Cub's Den at the Lodge twice. She (5year old) loves it and prefers to go there than the parks in the evening. She gets to play, watch tv, eat dinner and do arts and crafts. We all enjoyed the quiet time--her and us!! :rotfl:
