Even newer changes to EMH?! Can cast members confirm?!

That is great for the 3 hours later... we have a now 3 year old but this past Feb he was not being very coperative with the morning activities but seemed like after a afternoon nap he was ready to hit the magic at 4-5PM but by then the parks were shutting down. This maybe our answer to our son's schedule... If the temps hold out to stay half way warm the end of january.
Thanks for the info.!!!! :cool1: :moped: :rockband:

THIS STINKS! I'm so dissapointed that this is going to be changing while we're there!

I understand Disney has this under a testing period, but it really makes it difficult for people to plan ahead!

Quit yer whinin Mel.....I know, I know....

The OP on that thread has proved to be very trustworthy and accurate....I believe her. I am now wondering if the am ee's will change.

They tested this new schedule last spring, and it proved to be popular. If the official Walt Disney World website has it listed, then it is so. Try to make plans incorporating Extra Magic Hour both ways, just in case.

Thank you Luvstink. I didn't have to share this information, but I did. I wish it was wrong and that the schedule would remain the same, but I guess it's difficult for WDW to do this evening schedule. There has been many times when the parks closed to the public and reopen for private events. I did check both January and February morning schedules and they seem to remain the same throughout both months. I pulled out my January itinerary and looks like I have to cancel ALL of my PS because now I'm in the wrong parks on the wrong evenings. Maybe DebWills will post the information in her newspage. Since Deb seems to know the information about the same time I read it, I assume that she also has several CM sources that pass the current information to her from the same CM website I visit. I wish there was some way that the official site for guest could keep folks updated, but looks like that might not happen. I know how much planning goes into our trips, and these EMH/late hours has just made our lives more difficult. After I spend the day rearranging my PSs, the schedule may change again. Remember, don't shoot the messenger. If you didn't have us telling you about these changes, you would find out when you get there and think the park you're in is late and it isn't.

DVCReg posted the link from this website (WDWinfo.com). I think we often forget that our very own website provides us with a wealth of knowledge. I checked the dates to my own and they are correct. Hopefully they will continue to update this site with the most current dates and changes. Thanks DVCreg for reminding us what is available to us.

As of now, the operating calender show the AM early entry days staying the same throughout Jan and Feb.

This changing of the schedule makes it so hard to plan ahead. We are going in March, the week before Easter, and I am currently making my PS's. Oh well, hoping for the best :flower1:

I want to thank everyone for posting the chaning EMH schedule. I appreciate knowing in advance that the schedule may change for our March trip. Keep up the good work and please post the March schedule as soon as you know it.

Happy Holidays!

You're very welcome. The DIS takes pride in having accurate info. I hope that it's helpful to all of you traveling during the next two months.

We're monitoring these dates closely and will continue to post updates as needed.

I'm SO glad that our trip isn't until late May. All this change would drive me nuts if I'd made my Ps already!

Thank you for such a speedy reply! I appreciate it! Looks like that will work into our schedule nicely as far as I can tell. We have somewhat of a touring plan, but it can be shuffled easily, especially at that time of year. Thanks again!

Oh My! I have once again to change our itinerary!!??? OK, I'm usually a person who stresses over everything (no matter how small), but for some reason this is making me laugh and I'm quite calm about it.

I think I'll just cancel all of my PS's and hope for the best. What's the worst that can happen???? lol.

At least it looks like the weather is warming up a bit. :) :)

Usually in January, except MLK weekend, you can pretty much walk up to restaurants without PSs. At least we're hoping so this time. LOL last year we went without any and got into Crystal Palace for dinner with no wait at about 5:30. We're a fly by the seat of out pants family and are even going to attempt a Princess Breakfast walk up, either at the MK or at Epcot. We'll see. If we don't get in, we don't get in.

Wow, all these changes are really a pain! I'm going to be at WDW the very first week evening EMH is offered and I'm definitely planning to get all the info I can on it and post when I return. The first day, 1/2 is currently scheduled to be extra hours at MGM-I'm sitting my boat there until they throw me out!

Not quite sure why you seem upset with the responses on this thread. I didn't read any responses to your post that was blaming you or are upset with you for posting your information. We all appreciate any info we can get.
