I don't know the reason why, and maybe I shouldn't, but I do know one thing CC put up with a lot of crap here and she always handled it professionally.

CC you are in my thoughts today, prayers for you and your family during this difficult time.

Lot's of changes on the Dis some make me . I always admired CC she was a strong person who spoke here mind and always admitted when she was wrong (which was rare) CC you will be missed.

First, please know that my thoughts are with your cousin's family. What a terible thing for them to have to go through and I'm so sorry that it had to happen.

Second, I know I mentioned this to you last night, but I wanted to say it here at the DIS, too:

I don't get to post on the CB often but I do try to read now and then. You are one of the fixtures of the CB---one of the people who puts the "Community" in Community Board. I honestly don't know what the CB will be like without you . I just don't think it can ever be as good as it was with you here.

I just don't get how a person can go from WM to bannee in a few short weeks. It's weird--this is the second board I have been active on that seems to just ban at will--no matter what the fallout....

First of all, CC if you are still reading here, my prayers are with your family. I meant to post to the other thread yesterday, but didn't. Please know that we are thinking of you.

As for the "other" issue...well, I don't know what to say, other than I'm shocked beyond belief. Any BB is only as good as the people that post there, and I have to say that the empathy and compassion meter, as well as the IQ level, just dropped drastically on the DIS with your banning.

I don't even know where to begin, and it's probably best that I don't. I just have this to say, I enjoyed all the posts, emails and PMs I shared with Cathy and consider her a friend. This really hurts.

I had no idea until I read this thread this morning. Cathy, you have been a big part of the DIS for as long as I can remember... you are probably one of the few names I truly remember when I found this site just about 5 years ago.
