Hi, folks. We are planning a trip to DLR next June. I was wondering if any of you have experience using the EVE shuttle service from John Wayne airport to Disneyland area hotels? Do you recommend it? Thanks!

It's so easy to get to DLR from SNA/John Wayne and honestly a taxi is your best bet. They're all there, lined up and are roomy. No waiting, no surcharges.

What's a good option when you have multiple people and a couple large suitcases. Uber XL?

Yes! I used it a month ago and it was super easy and I couldn’t believe how cheap. We summoned it as we were walking off the plane and we waited at the curb for 5 -10 minutes. We had the whole shuttle bus to ourselves.

I intended to take it BACK to the airport but had not reserved in advance so it was unavailable that morning and so we grabbed an Uber.

The only small difference is EVE would not go to the Candy Cane and dropped us off around the corner. I imagine it has to do with traffic flow. The Uber though pulled right up to the lobby. The cost was very comparable.

Both worked great! I will never fly to LAX again. I don’t care if you save $$$, it’s not worth it IMO. It will always be SNA or Long Beach for me haha.

We still use a taxi as they are more like a minivan than a taxi. We've fit 5 people + luggage in one

Really? I thought they were just regular cars. I've literally never taken a taxi or a ride share before. I'm so sheltered. 🤣

I was looking into it and saw that EVE shuttles offer booster seats (but not car seats for babies <40#).
Pretty great! I just hate lugging those things through the airport.
