EVC rentals off property??

I am planning a trip for 10 days with my family and my spouse needs to rent an EVC. I do not want to have to wait in line every morning praying that I get one at the park so I would like to rent one off property and have it for the 10 days.

Has anyone done this and if so who do you recommend going through? Also can you give me the names and numbers of the company's.

As DannysMom said, the FAQ has a list of ECV rental companies. DISers have had positive experience with all of these companies, but I think the main ones people here tend to use are Walker's and Randy's. Most of them are pretty much the same, but Randy's deliver the ECV to you in your room, whereas the others all leave it with bellhop. The advantage of Randy's is that you get a full demonstration in person; the advantage of the others is that it's there and waiting for you when you arrive, so you can hit the parks straight away.

The FAQ also has loads of useful information on using ECVs in the parks, on the buses and at rides. If you've got any more questions, give us a shout.

I know about the sticky at the top, but my personal recommendation is Walker's. we have used them for our last 2 trips and they are reasonable to me. If you are going to be there like half a day your first day, they don't charge you for a whole day. Walker's phone number is 1-888-726-6837. The scooters are always ready and waiting even earlier than they say they will be. We saw many, many people (many more than other companies) in the parks using their ECV's, so I guess they must be reliable. Also, their ECV's seem to be well taken care of and seem to be newer models.

I used Discount Mobility the first time we rented, never again. One of the scooters didn't run correctly the first day and they just wanted to blame me and it took forever to get them out to replace it.
