hi everyone

I had a major abdominal surgery 7 weeks ago, and developed some complications. I thought I would be more recovered by now for our trip but I am thinking I may need an ECV or wheelchair just in case I get pains or whatever. I do not know much about this process. Do the resorts have EVC to rent? Will I need a letter from my surgeon? Where do you rent them at Disney? What are the costs??
if anyone can help me I would appreciate it. As I said I am not sure how its going to be for me but I want to be prepared just in case I do need one.

The resorts do not rent ECV's or wheelchairs. They are only available at the parks, on a day-to-day basis. They can't be reserved in advance, and tehre is no guarantee that they won't run out.

You're best bet is to reserve from an offsite supplier who will deliver to your resort.

The resorts have a limited number of free wheelchairs for you entire trip, but they can not be reserved.

Check the FAQs sticky on this board. Lots of info on where to rent etc.
