EVC leaving the parks

I rent an ECV for my trips. When we leave the park, I am never sure where I should be to load the bus. At some parks it is clear that I should go on the side so the driver can see me, but last trip, I believe it EPCOT that I could not find a way to get in a place where the driver could see me. Should I have gotten in line? What is the right thing to do.

Usually there is a small sign that will direct you where to wait. In the past, we have always gone to the side to wait. My DBF will usually try to flag the driver down to alert them that DD is sitting in her wheelchair waiting to board.

At EPCOT you travel through the regular line until you reach the pull-off spot that is where the end of the bus is. Sometimes that will mean you will not get on the same bus as the person behind you in line.

Can my DH and DD still get on the bus with me? Also, doesn't this make it really hard to pull onto the bus and park?

Yes your allowed up to six people to board with you and if you have more then six then the extras will have to wait for the driver to open the front door.

It doesn't make it any harder to pull into the bus and park because you still enter the bus from the back door. It may be harder to get through the line to reach the spot where you leave the line since the line does have turns. It also may make the wait longer because once you reach the pull out spot the bus might have loaded too many passengers and they will not let you load onto that bus. There also may be a second line of ECV/wheelchair users waiting at the pull of spot.
