eurostar - talk me through it please!

we're off to disney in 11 days and are going by eurostar for the first time. i've got a few queries which i was hoping someone could help me with:
- we are going from ashford, we have one bit of paper saying check in 1hr before and another saying 30 mins, which is it?
- the seats we have given, although in the same carriage, are not even remotely near each other. do you think we'll have any problem rearranging so that we can at least have an adult next to each child?
- is it likely to be very busy?
- i've heard people talk about a pack they've got on the eurostar, can you tell me what's in it and how i go about getting one please?
- we have disney express, i know we get our park tickets on the train and drop our bags off at the station, but we also need to collect vip fastpasses and bbwws tickets - i guess we will have to go to the hotel to get these anyway?
- we've been upgraded on the way there to standard premier, can anyone tell me what food and drink you were offered. ie do i still need to bring a packed lunch for us all to eat on the train?

i think that's it! getting very exciting now. can't wait for my SDD

In order to your questions:

I believe it's 30mins. We always go earlier though.

If you're going direct to Disney, the trains are normally full. On one journey we were seperated. We managed to talk other people into moving so that we could sit together.

I've never had a direct train that wasn't full/near full.

Never travelled on Eurostar with children so can't help, sorry.

Don't know. I'd imagine you do.

I thought it was 1 hour if you have to collect your tickets at the station.

When I booked Eurostar I was able to choose my seats. Im also able to log on and change my seats still if i wanted. Can you maybe try logging onto eurostar website and change seats.
I would imagine if you have a child with you, that the child must be seated with an adult.

probably if you cant get seats together!

I beleive you get these at the station on check in. Im assuming you mean the kiddy packs? Some say they are colouring pages but no crayons and not to rely on them for entertaining the kiddys!
I still want one though, but im on a indirect route!

I thought that ALL passes etc ordered will be given on the train!
