Service Update 1 December- 08.00 GMT
Published 30/11/2010 10.49 AM | Updated 01/12/2010 08.04 AM

Due to current weather conditions and as a precautionary measure, speed restrictions will be in place on the high speed lines in both the UK and Northern France on Wednesday 1 December. As a result Eurostar services are subject to delays of up to 30 minutes.

In light of the knock on impact, regrettably it is necessary to cancel some services today to ensure we can operate all remaining scheduled services.

If you are affected by these cancellations and who wish to complete your journey today, plans are in place to accommodate you on the next available service. Alternatively you may either exchange your ticket or receive a refund through your original point of sale.

Cancelled trains, Wednesday 1 December:

Between London and Brussels
06:59 from Brussels to London (Train 9109). Travellers wishing to travel will be accommodated on to the following London service at 07:59 (train 9113). Travellers from Lille should check-in as normal as an additional service has been arranged.

17.27 from London to Brussels (train 9150). Travellers wishing to travel will be accommodated on to the following Brussels service at 18.35 (train 9154), which will also stop at Ebbsfleet and Lille.

Between London and Paris
07:27 from London to Paris (train 9006). Travellers wishing to travel will be accommodated on to the following Paris service at 08:02 (train 9008) which will stop at Ebbsfleet and Calais.

09:13 from Paris to London (train 9015). Travellers wishing to travel will be accommodated on the following London train at 10.13 (train 9019) which will also stop at Ebbsfleet or at 11.13 (9023)

16:55 from London to Paris (train 9042) (17:27 from Ashford). Travellers wishing to travel will be accommodated on to the following Paris service at 17:30 (train 9044), which will also stop at Ashford 30 minutes later.

18.43 from Paris to London (train 9053). Travellers wishing to travel will be accommodated on to the following London service at 19.13 (train 9055) which will also stop at Ashford.

Passengers on other services who may experience difficulties travelling to and from our stations on Wednesday 1 December can exchange their Eurostar tickets in order to postpone their travel. Eurostar tickets can be exchanged within 60 days for travel within 90 days through the original point of sale.

We are advising travellers wishing to travel to check-in for their original time of departure to be re-accommodated on the next available train.

at least they are trying to get people onto the next train, i hope nobody is too affected by this

do you think they will try to keep the direct service to disney on time and just change the others?

The direct Disney train normaly runs to time.

The engineering works taking place near Paris which are adding an extra 10 minutes journey times on the direct London to Paris trains are not helping matters.

The timetable for Thursday 2 December will be available from 2pm on the Eurostar site.
