Eurostar problems

Sorry if this has been asked before - I'd assumed it would have been, but I can't see a thread for it...

I understand that Eurostar are operating reduced services because of the recent fire in the tunnel. Does anybody know how this affects the Disney trains? I've got a direct train from Ashford booked for the 13th and am very nervous about it being cancelled or moved!

The Disney train will arrive at Ashford at 9.50 instead of 9.38am and should arrive at DLP for 1.30pm. The journey coming back home might be a bit longer as it took us a extra 1hr20 mins to get back to Ashford.

Your train will be running, as Eurostar says just check in at the usual times.

Thanks so much, littlemermaid, that was really useful! Oh no though, not only losing an hour at the park but also an extra hour on a train with an excitable 5 year old and a wriggly 1 year old !!!

Eurostar have issued a new timetable from the 1st October. The Disney train is now departing from St Pancras at the earlier time of 8:35 and arriving at Disney at 12:30 (not sure of the time for Ashford)
On the return journey it is leaving Disney at the later time of 20:13 arriving back in London at 22:13

Thats alright then the train seems to arrive at DLP the normal time.

Glad to see its practically back to normal for all those going soon.

I just spoke to Eurostar today and she checked for me and said my train on 5th October will be leaving Ashford at 9.03. My train back will depart from DLRP at 20.13 so that time is changed too.

I wonder if they have rung up and people and let them know the train leaves earlier.

Thank you for posting this salandbri. We travel Friday and when I checked the Eurostar website yesterday it was still showing 0916.
I would have checked tomorrow, the 1st, in case it changed back to the time it was when we booked, 0853. But I didn't expect them to make it earlier. I just hope our train from the midlands isn't late into London.

No, they haven't. We booked online but they haven't even e-mailed to tell us that our train is now earlier than we booked.

That's a bit rubbish isn't it. They didn't contact me either but since I'd lost everything including the tickets it didn't make much difference!

I travel tomorrow and no-one called me. Good job i read this as i now know that the train will leave Ashford at 9.03. I will have to leave that little bit earlier just to be on the safe side.

I looked at the Eurostar website and couldn't see anything on there other than "check in as normal"!

Thanks for this, we go on Monday - hadn't really occurred to me that the train would leave earlier! Website isn't clear what time it leaves Ashford (could be my computer skills though!). I booked online, surely some sort of email from them, at least to check the times, wouldn't have been too difficult to arrange.
