Hi.

I am booking my trip today... I just looked on the eurostar website and it was £233 a few days ago and now it's gone up to just over £300.. Is this because it is now nearing the weekend and the prices rise?. Will they fall if say i leave it till Monday next week or are they likely to rise even more?.

I've only got the experience of my upcoming trip as I've always flown, I spoke to many advisors they were all fantastic and very helpful. What they told me is that they release seats in price blocks ie start cheapest then as each block sells the price rises.

I'm not sure if someone else can more informed knows any different :confused3

Hi.

I just phoned up and booked. She was actually able to do the eurostar for £200 return as 2 of my kids are under 12 and travel free. This saved me £100 or so compared to the eurostar site.:banana:

I always find it easier to call them and have had cheaper prices too.

Remember there is several price categories on Eurostar - Child, Junior and Adult. Junior runs to 25 I think!

Hi, ive noticed it is rather a big difference if you book leisure seats on eurostar. What is the added benifit of booking these seats?

That's brilliant, I really couldn't praise the service I got enough, use the no to 08 site to get the local call number too :thumbsup2

I think if you go leisure select, you have a table etc and hot food served to you. (Or at least that was the case when i last went a few years ago).

Its no longer hot food served, its cold food since they renamed it Standard Premier. My friend's husband is a manager for Eurostar & says that many have been complaining since this has changed. Breakfast is also continental.

When I booked a few weeks ago, the Standard Premier was cheaper than the regular seats on the way there, and on the way back they didn't have 2 standard seats next to each other, so I had to go Standard Premier again.

I'm sure I'll cope :)

I can see why many are complaining. My DH still thinks it's worth the extra £ for being provided with a meal albeit a cold one but I'm not so sure.

Ooh what a hardship ;) I'm sure you will. :goodvibes

Just out of interest i have been wondering if at a later date and there are seats avaliable can you upgrade to leisure select from Standard?. Would you have to ring eurostar direct or would i have to ring disney as i booked it at the same time i booked the stay through the special offer for Jan.
