Eurostar expensive for my dates - how else to get to DLP from Devon?

Do you happen to collect tesco clubcard points? At the moment you can convert £2.50 worth of points into 900 avios (new name for airmiles) points. It'd cost 31500 avios points to get a return eurostar to DLP for 2 adults and 1 child which would translate as £87 worth of tesco vouchers. Or you can use some avios points and some cash which might be better. Details are here https://www.avios.com/spend/eurostar?from=SpendNav

Your other option is to take the Eurostar to Paris itself and then the RER (train ) from Paris to DLP.

The advantage of this is that there are several Eurostar trains a day to choose from
The disadvantage is that you have to change RER lines as the Eurostar arrives at Gare du Nord which is on a different line to the RER which goes to DLP - its not that hard to do but depends how much luggage you have

Ive just tried to check prices for you but it only shows up to early december at the moment. Im not sure if you could get a price by phoning

The other cost to factor in is that you would probably need a hotel in London overnight if you were on the direct Eurostar as most people find it leaves too early to get a train there in time from home

To fly from Bristol, there is a flight at 18:25 with EasyJet arriving at Charles De Gualle at 20:45, return flight available departing CDG at 21:15 and arriving at Bristol at 21:30.

The price is 65 per adult giving a total of £189 for 2 adults and one under 12

have you thought about looking into a coach? they often work out much cheaper, and tend to travel overnight so you arrive bright an early in Paris.
