Does anyone know if it's ok to take wrapped presents in your suitcase on the Eurostar? I looked on the website but couldn't find anything.

I'm having nightmares that they will look in my case and make me unwrap everything and then DD is like "What are all those presents doing in your case mummy and oooooooh Frozen toys?" :rotfl:

The last thing I really want to do is unwrap everything and lock myself in the toilet at the hotel to wrap them all and hope the little person doesn't wake up and suss it all out. lol

I don't know definitely Emma but when I flew with Christmas presents years ago (before security got really tight) I wrapped them but left one end open so it was easier to see what was in them and then they could be finished off quickly when I arrived

I think I remember Eurostar are fine with wrapped presents in your luggage - as long as you have no crackers etc I don't think there is a problem. Everything goes through the scanner.
Planes/airports have different rules to what you can take in your hand luggage to the Eurostar and I think you'll be ok (I do remembering someone last year worrying but everything was fine). Maybe telephone them and double check.

I took a few wraped presents during my last Christmas trip and there were no issues with security at Eurostar. Saying that I've never has any issues with security at St. Pancras.

:thumbsup2 Wish I'd thought of this - it would have saved me half an hour of fun ..... not! :rotfl:
