Changed our money and we have 735 Euros to last us 5 days...
I do hope it will be enough

I have filled a sports bag full of drinks & snacks to take :rotfl: so i guess that saves money.
Also we plan to grab quick snacks like hot dogs for lunch, but we do plan to eat every night in a table service resturant.
Depending how hungry DD is then sometimes she could share some of mine and hubbys dinner as shes little and dosnt eat alot.

So fingers crossed it will be enough! Exchange rate is awful at the moment
:sad2: we got the rate of 1.18 from M&S

We are taking bank card just incase.... :confused3

:scared1: :scared1:

I am sure that enough hun!!! haha. I have a friend that managed with two children on 250 ish euros for 4 days 3 nights.. just didnt eat at the restaurants... only at the counter places.

I am hoping to take around 350 euros for my 5 day trip. and I feel really fine about that amount! wow you will have such a great time!! ohhhh... and fireworks tonight... does life get better!!

Why take so much cash? All the outlets in DLRP take cards - get yourself a Nationwide CC - no commission taken and you'll get the commercial exchange rate - normally 5 cents more than the tourist rate and of course there's nothing to change back.

If you need cash then get a Nationwide Flex account, put some money into the account and use the debit card to withdraw what you need in euros - same again, you'll get a far better rate.

Your choice of course but why let others make money out of you?

I think it's a great plan to take snacks, we didn't this time and really wish we had.
