Euros? ATM machines at Disneyland Paris? Prepaid Travel Cards?

Do most people carry cash or just use ATM machines to get Euros upon arrival at the airport or at Disneyland Resort?

Coming from Beijing I am not sure what will work best. I have a China Union Pay bank card - not sure if it will work in ATM machines in France - googled it - two bank systems in France accept Union Pay but does anyone know which bank services the ATM system at Disneyland Park? Is it better to just plan to use my US bank card and/or Visa?

:confused3

How about using prepaid travel cards? Anyone used Travelex Cash Passport?

Thanks for any insight! :)

As we've only been on short trips to DLRP I just tend to take a couple of hundred € and then charge anything else to the room and pay off at the end with a MasterCard. That way you've only got one international transaction on your card.

I have a USD prepaid card and it works wonderfully for us when in the States. So if you're over in Europe for a longer trip I'd say it's a great thing to get.

Thank You! :) I am considering a Euro prepaid card - just afraid if I put all my spending money on it and it doesn't work I am "up a creek without a paddle" so to speak. But I will have a Visa with me just in case. Considering room charging.

The ATM in the park are supported by the Crédit Mutuel bank.

You also have an ATM of the postal bank - La Poste - in the RER/Train station and if you are going to Val d'Europe shopping center you have Société Générale, BNP Parisbas, Banque Accord and Caisse d'Epargne ATM.

Hth :goodvibes

Ours we have the ability to log into it's website and check the balance and add/withdraw money. So I don't think you have too much to worry about. X

Thanks so much - that really helps. Caisse d'Epargne is listed as one that accepts Union Pay - so nice to know there is an ATM somewhat near.
