We have been planning a trip to WDW for next fall, and now a very good friend is planning her wedding in England for Sept 2005. I'm thinking that we could go to EuroDisney at the same time. Are there any good sites for planning European holidays? Does anybody know where I would find discount airfare to Heathrow, (flying out of Ottawa would be ideal, but I could travel to Montreal or Toronto if that would be cheaper). Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

Hi,

Try www.flyzoom.com, $552 CA flying from Ottawa to Gatwick in Sept of 05.
My friend got a cheap bus trip/holiday to Eurodisney everything included for 130 pounds. She booked 6 months in advance to get that deal. It included the tickets to get in to Disney as well as the hotel. I think it was 2 nights. Start looking early and you should be able to get a deal.

Good luck!

Thanks for the link, CabMom, the price from Zoom was about $1000. cheaper than from the link my friend sent (www.canadaffair.com). I would have to fly from Montreal to Gatewick, but Montreal is only about 2 hours away from Ottawa, so no big deal. Flights from Ottawa were $2600. I can drive a few hours to save $700.!!

Snowwark, I'm not lucky yet, I still have to talk hubby into it! He is military and has been to Europe more times than I can count, so it's not a priority for him. He just assumed that I would go alone for the wedding. I've never been to Europe, and I think if I were spending a ton of money to go, I would like to stay long enough to make it worth my while, and do some sightseeing. He is anticipating the airfare being in the $3K-$4K range ( with him, the glass is ALWAYS half empty), but he clearly has not learned (from our Florida trip in Dec) that he shouldn't underestimate my planning skills ( or the skills and experience of the DIS!)

I don't have any ideas Faye, since I've never been, but I just wanted to wish you the best of luck in your planning. Be sure to keep us up to date! :)

I hope you can convince your DH this time, Faye, that the glass is half full....of fun!! :sunny: ::yes::

My DB and his wife bought a house in the south of France last year, and I am anxiously awaiting an invitation to visit! Of course I'd have to make a detour to Disneyland Paris!! ::yes::

Keep us posted on your planning skills! ;) :teeth:
