I have rang eurostar this morning about booking for March 13 ( direct disney train). She has taken my details to inform me when they are released but said they are not released any earlier than the website. I have read on here that they are available up to 10 months in advance if you ring them. Is she correct? Should I ring again and talk to someone else?

yes I'd ring and speak to someone else, the dates are definitely released earlier by phone, although they may not be released for March for a little while yet (I believe its up to December at the moment).

Call again yes, my husband booked our late November seats last month after receiving an email advising him of his 'priority booking slot', we were pretty much the first people to book on that train and had pick of the seats :thumbsup2. He did have to speak to a few different people before hand to make sure this happened, it seems a few Eurostar staff are either reluctant to let people book before the seats go live online or don't know it's possible!

Good luck :goodvibes

Hmmm, just spoke to some one else who said they are not released any sooner than on the website but told me something completely different as to when they may be released!! She also did not offer to take my details like the last person. This seems very hit and miss!

No they are definitely released earlier by phone.

I also registered my details with them for end of November dates and got an email through on 21st May saying they would be released the following morning and giving me my priority booking ref. The dates still hadn't been released on the website for at least a week and a bit after that. (I checked!) And like TheTizzardFamily I've had the pick of the seats and cheapest fares for it.

Were you given a reference number by the person who took your details? A pre-booking reference number?

It is really annoying that they don't seem to know what they are talking about! On the website the calender is only going up to the beginning on Nov now!

I know!

I must have phoned about six times in the run up to me booking. The first five people told me that they weren't on sale yet and they didn't know when they would be - although a couple of them confirmed that they go on sale earlier over the phone. The final one told me she'd take all my details and I'd be emailed to be told when they would go on sale. I think it must definitely depend on who you speak to and how helpful they are. :confused3

If you've been given a reference number I wouldn't worry too much, they have all your details. As I said I got an email on the Monday and I phoned them Tuesday morning at 9am to book the seats. Paid £218 for the three of us which I am very pleased with!

Good luck! :cheer2:

Thank you, think I will phone every so often as well. Paranoid they will have taken my email address wrong or something!!
