I am thinking I am going to become a new seller on ETSY (long time buyer ) and I am trying to brain storm on some craft ideas that do well online.

I am very crafty so I want to expand, but it is just a matter of coming up with some things.

I dont want to do bows but I have made purses out of candy rappers and stuff like that before, should I go back to it??

Any ideas?

The candy wrapper purses sound neat and unique

It seems the toughest markets are artwork (like paintings) and photography. jewelry is pretty saturated but not impossible to break into

but if you have something unique (like those purses) I would go with something like that. you'll stand out

I agree with something unique like the candy wrapper purses.

I think people also like that ability to have things customized, so maybe offering a craft that allows that to be done.

Customize with your favorite wrappers? Like offer different candy wrappers for the purses. So people pick out say 4 types or whatever that will be worked into your regular design.
Kid stuff seems to sell very well. Be creative and good luck!

I currently do hair bows for babies and toddlers. I have a diaper cake up and I'm going to add a few tutus in the next week or so.
I've been doing this since Jan thought and haven't had my first sale yet (but a fair amount of views so I'm hopeful).
I enjoy doing it and that's the important thing.
My advice is to not go into this expecting to become a millionaire overnight and you'll do great!
