Etiquette cards for queues

I have been toying with the idea of printing up a small business card size list of ride queue etiquette to pass out to those who are "challenged" when it comes to waiting in line.
So far I have,
No line jumping, if you have members of your party already in line, have them come to the back instead of you going forward.
Try to keep your children under control, Yes I know its Disney but do they really need to stand on my feet too?
Any other suggestions? I was also thinking about printing them in English on one side and Spanish on the other for those who claim not to speak English

In theory that sounds like a great idea......but when you actually hand those out, there might be a lot of people who would be offended by the idea of another guest handing out cards telling them how to behave, lol. I myself wouldn't care, as I already try not to do those things, but I can just see that causing a commotion. The idea of Spanish on the back is clever, hehe. Well, good luck if you try it......

You will need to put it in Portuguese for the Brazillian Tour Groups. :)

The only way any "offenders" would pay any attention to this would be if it were printed on a $20 bill. :rotfl2:

They wouldn't abide by it, of course, but they'd TAKE it. :thumbsup2

How about adding- please don't invade my personal space! I HATE when people are standing on top of me in line.

If a recipient gives you a hard time, have a second card to hand to them, saying:

"Your mother's a man"

Someone rude enough to cut in line would probably be rude enough to tear the card up and toss it in your face.
The only way queue rules will be followed is if the Disney decides to make it a priority for the CM's. Other guests trying to enforce rules is just a good way to start a fight.

Can you add one more thing, specifically for my DD8?

"Please do not run your hands along every single inch of the queue rails/ropes and then play with your chewing gum/lips, etc."

Ack! She was grossing me out the whole trip back in March. What is it about young children, that they have to touch EVERYTHING???

Maybe she'll listen to someone else's mother. :confused3

OMG :lmao: I told DH this in July when we were there--I also wanted to print stickers that said--Do you know your underware is showing? If you don't, now you know. If you do and don't care then nevermind.
:confused3.

i couldn't agree more. let the CM's do their job. nothing is stopping a guest from alerting a CM to a rule breaker, but if the CM chooses to do nothing about it, a guest is only asking for trouble if they take on enforcing the rules themselves. ignorant people do not generally take kindly to being reminded that they are rude.

NOW - if the OP was just being a little silly and expressing frustration in a joking way - then....i hear ya. don't forget the card that reminds them to put on their deoderant!

-lori

I am guessing the OP is just letting off a bit of steam. Boy, wouldn't we need just an encyclopedia of cards to cover all ocassions? :sad2:

On the other hand, if the OP is for real... I think it is a bad idea. Even though I agree with ther principles you state, if someone handed me a card I would throw it back in their face. Handing out a card sounds like the most condescending thing anyone could do. And none of us handle condescension real well IRL or at WDW.

I agree with this one.

And I'd also like "No Farting"

You want my kids to behave and no line jumping?

My ds will behave better if he jumps around/walk in circles outside the line with DH and then comes back to the line with me and dd at a reasonable time...

That's a good one. :lmao: The other side should say 'You have fat rolls, please avoid cropped tops'. :rotfl: I would never say that or hand a note to someone that said it, but I wish I could.
