Has anyone purchased there Disneyland tickets on line? I was thinking of getting the eticket. How does this work with fastpass? :confused3 Do they give you something else to use for fastpass? :confused3 Do you have to wait in the ticket purchasing line and exchange your eticket for a regular ticket? I'm tryint to avoid that line if possible. Sorry I'm new at buying tickets. When we live in So. Cal we always had season passes. Thanks for the help!

I just got etickets. You take the paper directly to the turnstile where they scan them and give you your actual tickets. No extra waiting at the ticket booth or Guest Services! At least... that's what I've been told

FastPass is a completely different thing than park entrance tickets... might want to read Hydroguy's tips (top of the page) to get familiar with how those work. They are great if you know how to collect them early and often. Walk onto rides that have a standby line of an hour or more.

I've used fastpass at DL and WDW but we always had to put our park enterance tickete into the machine to get the fastpasses. Has this changed? The paper ticket you print out for the eticket is just a piece of paper and wouldn't be able to be put into the machine like a park enterance ticket. Thanks for the info!

The ticket you print online...You take it to the turnstiles. They scan it and out pops a regular park ticket. Good for fast pass and everything. Have just done it to get my DD's3 ap last week.

This is exactly how it's done. You take your print out to the turn styles and they issue you a little blue ticket like everyone else! Have fun!

I purchased eTickets last October, and it worked out really well.

Disney will send you a PDF file in an e-mail. When you print out the PDF file it will be an 8 1/2" by 11" and have the same Bar Code printed twice. You just take the print-out straight to the DL turnstiles. In less than a minute they scan the Bar Code, print your "regular" ticket, and you're done. :thumbsup2

HydroGuy's other tips are really good, too. They're in the sticky at the top of this forum: "HydroGuy Tips Compilation."

This was exactly our experience on Sunday.

& in fact, it took the CM at the TURNSTILE just a few seconds to scan the e-ticket bar code & for my son's 2 day park hopper to spit out. (& this hopper is what is used for park admission & to collect FPs).

Very smooth & easy.
