I ate out today and I need to guess on my POINTS, so I am kind of using y'all as a sounding board to see if I am being fair in assigning the right values.

I went to Ruby Tuesday (and had lunch with another DISer :)) and I had a salad from the salad bar (lettuce, tomato, cucumber, carrot, greens and a tiny, tiny bit of egg, maybe 1-1/2 tsp. and lite ranch dressing about a spoon and a half. I estimated 1/2 PT fior the egg and 3 PTS for the dressing. Then I had a 1/2 turkey sandwich, no cheese, no bacon. It consisted of 2 slices of turkey that were small, maybe 2 oz. total, lettuce, tomato and mayo on 1 slice of what looked like wheat toast. I estimated this at 5 PTS. Then I had 2 ice waters with lime, 0 PTS. After we went to Starbucks and I had a Decaf. caffe latte with nonfat milk for 2 PTS. Grand total of 10-1/2 POINTS.

What do you think, am I close?

Debbie-

I think it sounds reasonable and pretty darn yummy, too! I am hungry today and it's late so I am not eating but am a "thumbs up" for your points to count ;)

Sounds as though you are pretty accurate in your estimate, if you know what I mean.

Plus your lunch sounded soooooo yummy.

i just wanted to add you can go to starbucks website and figure points if you want -- but looks fair to me. I usually count a small latte with soy or skim milk as 1 pt - sugar free syrup no whipped cream.

Thanks all!

Molli, the website was helpful, I never even thought to look for their website.
