Estimated wait time differences

we will be coming down in Sept. We are doing a split trip with the dark side.

Normally we always do Disney first since Universal is so much more laid back (on site w/ express pass).
But this time I am thinking of flip flopping our trip.

What is the difference between a level 3 crowd on Sat/Sun verse a level 1 crowd on Wed/Thurs @ WDW?

In practical terms, very little difference. The super headliners will still have longer lines, but the rest should have very short wait times. I'd still rather tour the parks midweek, especially MK.

Years back (many - BTTF was still around), we ventured to the dark side on a Sunday morning. Park was DEAD and did not pick up until around 12:30pm or so. We literally walked in to BTTF with just 5-6 behind us. Then again, U* was struggling as I remember getting buy a 1-day hopper get 4-day free AND a free kids ticket too.

I did ask what was going on and they said it was like that every Sunday morning - "locals go to church"
