I'll be the one drowning my " I don't wanna go home" sorrows in those cute little bottles of Marlborough sauvignon blanc.... but I think you're flying PE? We're down the back of the bus so you probably won't hear the sobs

i am trying to wangle an upgrade to business on the way home (fingers crossed), so maybe we'll meet up in the lounge before the flight and cry into some free booze on the ground as well.

if not, we'll be the unhappy ones sitting in the terminal with this carry-on..you wont miss it

I WISH we would be in the lounge drinking free booze but when I said the back of the bus I meant Economy. Hope you get your upgrade though!

On that Sunday we'll be driving back from Vegas. We've done the drive before so we know we'll have plenty of time. I'm hoping to visit the beach before we head for LAX, just so I can really say I've driven from the Atlantic to the Pacific!

I'll keep an eye out for that carryon - I don't think I'd have any trouble recognising it

and as for the $ then I'd suggest that YES you go straight to the Bank!!!!! I'll just sit here and think of ponies.....

We've managed to score 2 window seats towards the front of cattle class. We're a bit worried about the connecting flight too. I think we need to treat the connection just like a rope drop at DL.

Andona, thanks for sharing. Absolutely loooove your trip. Haven't worked up the courage to do a long road trip in the US but it's definitely on my bucket list. I got ESTA a few weeks back but there's one part i haven't filled in yet (that your able to fill in later) and that's where you can put which airline you are flying with and i was wanting to know if you actually have to put your airline info in or you can just keep it blank ,the only reason i haven't put which airline is because i am unsure to put the airline i booked through or the airline the flight is operated by.
