I was just wondering, we last went in sep 2010 do we need to just start a new esta or retrieve are last one and update it? We don't go untill may but when should we look at doing the esta? Thanks

Pretty sure that they're only valid for 2 years. We're. Going in May too and doing ours tonight

Correct, only valid 2 years. Then you have to get new ones.

You will need to do them again...they will have expired now. I would leave it until next year before you do them again but maybe not until the very last moment incase they are not approved straight away...

As Vanda says, don't apply too early as they are only valid for two years so it's wasted time before you go if you apply too far in advance. We normally do our ESTAs about 2 months before we travel.

Ok thanks this will def be our last trip for a very long time (we said that last time)so I don't think the two year expiry will matter but I'll hold a while longer just in case ;-)

We're going from the 6th until the 20th so about 97 days for us I think
