ESTA info

Sorry if this has been asked before, but we have completed online ESTA info (on booking flights with Virgin) and printed an acknowledgement which states we have been authorized.

Do we have to take anything else to check in (for example)? Someone mentioned we should get something in the post (a card?), so just wondering what (if anything) else we need to do for ESTA before flying (this friday).

You don't need to take anything with you to check-in. You won't get anything in the post regarding ESTA either.

Everything is done as far as ESTA is concerned but you will be given a form at check-in or on the plane that you need to fill in - it basically asks for the same information as ESTA and is a leftover of the old system from before ESTA was introduced. That form then needs to be handed in when you reach Immigration in the US.

When you get the green form I would ask for some spares. I have filled these in numerous times - I always end up doing the whole groups on the plane - but always make a mistake, and believe me they have to perfect when you get to immigration or you will be sent to the back of the queue.
