I've had an email from ESTA to say our ESTA's we did in march 2010 are due to expire in 30 days, but the print out i have states they expire march 2012. I've tried to update them for our trip in august but it says they've expired. Ive also tried to do a search for them using our passport no. dob etc but that comes back saying they cant find any valid ESTA's. Has this happened to anyone else who did their ESTA's before they started to charge for them? It looks like I will have to do them all again. :confused3

1st thing to check is all your passport expiry dates, that is the most common problem. If they are valid not sure, maybe someone else has ideas.

Did you click a link to get to the website or did you type in the address yourself? I ask this only because I found this on Trip Advisor

http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowTo...647-ESTA_Warning_Expiry_email-Air_Travel.html

It looks like they are questioning whether the emails are a scam, probably trying to lure people into paying for an unnecessary renewal :confused3

Due to problems folk were expriencing when it was still free, I adopted the habit of always typing in the actual address myself or else clicking the link on the ESTA sticky at the top of the UK Trip Planning page. Give it a go and see if that makes a difference :wizard:
