I have done a plan using tourning plans and it has put these times down for the world show case pavillions. could someone let me know how accurate these times are. Thankyou.

These are without the rides/films, just looking around the pavillions

Norway 15 mins
Mexico 10 mins
norway 10 mins
Germany 10 mins
china 10
italy 10
france 10 minutes
United Kingdom 10 minutes
Japan 10 minutes
Morocco 10 minutes
Canada 10 minutes

Sure you can walk in and out of the pavilions in those times but it doesn't really account for walking through/looking in stores or if you want to get a snack or drink or looking at the themed displays in some of them.

I think it would be hard to guess how long other people would need because we all have different interests. Also, I think as someone who has been to Epcot many times, it is hard to remember how it was when everything was new to me but I'll try.

Canada: I would spend about 5 minutes in the garden and about 10 minutes in the shops. If I can catch the show that'll add another 45 minutes, 15 minutes to wait and then 30 minutes for the show.

United Kingdom: Again about 5 minutes in the garden and about 10 minutes in the shops. And again if I can catch the show it'll be another 45 minutes.

France: I can probably make it through the shops in less than 10 minutes since so little of the merchandise is unusual. The mime could add another half hour.

Morocco: We probably would spend 15 minutes walking through the shops our first time. There's also a gallery in Morocco which I would spend another 5-10 minutes in.

Japan: I think the first time we spent a half hour in the store, but I really wish we didn't. There's another gallery here that probably would eat up another 10 minutes. If we catch the drummers that would add another 15 minutes.

American Adventure: The time we spend here is mostly about hearing Voices of Liberty.

Italy: Not much to see here, so I figure we'd spend about 5-10 minutes in the shops and then move on. If we catch the juggler that would add another 15 minutes.

Germany: Not much to see here either, so again 5-10 minutes in the shops.

China: Between the shops and displays this would be about 10-15 minutes for us.

Norway: We like these shops, so we probably would spend about 10-15 minutes in the shops. We've never been to the gallery here but we'll probably spend 5-10 minutes there on our next trip.

Mexico: We could spend 15-20 minutes inside the pavilion, just to beat the heat but also because there's lots of pretty things to look at in the shops.

We always spend about 30-45 minutes each in Japan, China and UK. Mostly because we love to shop in the stores in those three countries. I always make a point to watch the entertainment in China and Japan, and look at the exhibits there, and I usually meet a character in UK (Mary Poppins or Alice). We also often stop for a while in the US Pavilion because we like to get an adult beverage and sit at a table and relax. For us, the world showcase is at least a 4-5 hour block of time, and more if we decide to see one of the shows (like the American Adventure, the movie in France, etc). And we like to stop and chat with the Cast Members from the various countries. 10 minutes each would mean barely walking into the buildings.

It is hard for me to put a time limit on it, but I spend the majority of my time in the following pavilions. Mexico, Germany, Italy, US, France, and the UK. I like just walking around and enjoying the atmosphere. I also like talking to the cast members to learn about their country and their experiences so far in the US.

We spend most of our time touring the countries at Epcot and minimal time in Future World, so those times are way off for us. We take our time looking in all the shops and typically end up talking to several of the CMS in each country. We also usually drink our way around the world as well as share a small food item from many of the countries. We enjoy the movies (Canada, France, China) as well as the rides in Mexico and Norway. For sure we would need extra time in Mexico for margaritas and looking at all the "shops" (I spend more than 10 minutes just looking at the cute little painted wooded animals). I also spend a lot of time in France smelling all the yummy perfume and in Japan (lots of cool stuff to look at in Mitsukoshi as well as the saki bar). Then there are the musical groups in Morocco and the UK. And don't forget about meeting characters in the various countries.

Maybe we are strange but there is absolutely no way we could spend only 10-15 minutes in each country. We allocate AT LEAST two entire days for Epcot during our trips and often end up spending an additional night or two there eating at one of the restaurants.

No way I could estimate that. Some days we just sort of walk through and some days we spend time really looking at things and some days we spend half hour just sitting outside a country and looking at the details on the buildings. Add in the time for wine tastings and a magerita and guac at Mexico. If it is your first trip, I don't see how you could get through any of the countries in less than 1/2 hour, it would take that long just to actually go into each shop in each country and look at all they have.

I never have World Showcase planned out. To me, this is one of the best "hang out" spots at WDW. You'll probably discover a few new favorites. My advice- Toss the Touring Plan in World Showcase.

One suggestion-pull out your Smartphone and do some of the Agent P World Showcase Adventures.:)

It "forces" you to see things you never would notice otherwise-the level of detail in the Pavilions is amazing!:)

Ten minutes would just be cruising by and glancing in the front maybe...

There is so much detail. So many nooks and crannies. I love it! We spend a lot of time there.

World Showcase is one of my favorite places in all of the WDW parks. I spend hours there, and I love appreciating all of the little nooks and crannies, checking out the shops, trying food/beverages, watching the shows/entertainment. As others have said, those times would be barely scratching the surface.

We too love World Showcase. We also spend at least two full days and several additional evenings there. I can't fathom what could be accomplished in 10 minutes.

We travel with 4 kids so typically we cruise through each country stopping only occassionally. We do enjoy the hidden gems such as the museum in Morocco and meeting Princess Jasmine in a shop tucked in the back of an alley. Our kids also like to stop and watch the train in Germany. Likewise the hedge maze in UK is a nice relax for mommy and daddy while the kids run through it. Norway has the small church that houses a museum inside, and if the gnomes are hidden around the pavilion then that's a bonus.

World Showcase is absolutely best enjoyed at leisure. Stop and browse a store until it bores you. Get sidetracked by a performer. Grab a spur-of-the-moment snack just because it looked interesting. Chat with a cast member from halfway around the world and learn about her experiences there.

The grand circle around the area is so big and there's an endless variety of ways you could explore the pavilions. You never know what will capture the attention and imagination of the kids or the adults in your group.

Hanging in the World Showcase is something I can do for days! It is the most awesome place to just soak up the atmosphere.

Often, we will become fixated on something and spend a lot of time looking at that one thing--such as the koi pond in Japan. Or the displays in China near the movie. The train display or the cuckoo clocks in Germany, etc.

I can't imagine following a schedule, but I guess some folks do.

Only you can decide that, as we all have different interests in each country. One, or two, we actually do not even go to, some we stay much longer on a visit by visit decision. We also go more than once on different days.

I never understand when people have to plan by the minute - we could never tour like that. There are so many variables with us.

I agree with the other poster who said to toss out the TP schedule (and I'm a big TP fan!) But it's just not appropriate for WS. I think 10 minutes per country is way too short unless a person is just trying to check off "been there" on their list. 10 minutes is not even enough time to get a treat at Les Halles in France which is a must-do for us, let alone see anything else in that pavilion. I would completely scrap any kind of plan and instead do a little research on what is of interest in each pavilion in advance and get an entertainment schedule the day you go to see what acts you want to see. With our spring trip, we are skipping any of the long movies as well as the American Experience show because we will have four preschoolers with us. We will get passports for them so they can get a stamp at each country and see what interests them. We will likely do pick-a-pearl in Japan, shop for gummies in Germany and take the Gran Fiesta Tour in Mexico. It will be during F&G so we'll have a look at the topiaries and get some snacks and drinks at the kiosks. We'll probably spend a total of 6-7 hours (spread over 2 days) touring the 11 countries of Epcot so that works out to nearly 40 minutes per country, including walking, if it were all to be divided evenly (not counting riding FEA).
